Ministry of Reconsiliation

Devotions:
All of the body of Christ is called to the ministry of reconciliation. All of the body of Christ qualifies to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which is the anointing to do ministry. So why are we not walking in the ministry to which God has called us? This ministry is not just us doing the work but God working with us to do a supernatural ministry of signs and wonders just as Jesus and the disciples did.
"He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?" (Galatians 3:5 KJV)
The power of God is activated by faith. We must believe that it is God in us to both will and do to His good pleasure. The power is His, not ours. We are vessels of that power but as vessels we participate with the power of God.
"Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."
(John 14:10 KJV)
Jesus claim that as a human being, He did not work the miracles but the Father who dwelled in Him. As we are also born of Him and have the miracle working power upon us, the Holy Spirit, we must believe that the Father is dwelling in us.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23 KJV)
The words of Jesus that we are to keep is that we love one another as He has loved us. As we fellowship with Jesus and the Father we continue to renew our understanding of His love for us and expanding our understanding of that love. This creates greater and greater love in us for each other. Jesus says that when we walk in love, the Father and Jesus will come to abide in us and do His work through us.
"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends"
"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you." (John 15:10-13, 16 KJV)
