Devotions:

"But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.”

‭Luke‬ ‭12:31-32‬ ‭NASB‬‬

“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”  ‭Luke‬ ‭17:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The kingdom of God is where God has full authority.  When we receive Jesus we are to receive Him as Lord of our lives thus giving up our rights to our lives and at the same time removing satan as lord of our lives.  Our rights and satan's lordship go hand in hand.  When Adam declared himself independent from God, he moved under the lordship of satan.

“Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.”  ‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So here we find that not everything on the earth is in subjection to God's agent, man and thus to God.  But in heaven we see everything in subjection to God and there is no crying, pain, evil, dying, calamities or accidents or any bad thing happening there.  God is only good.

When we receive Jesus the kingdom comes within us and as we seek to walk in it we become dominated by that kingdom of goodness.  We find that it does not detract from us to be under the Lordship of Jesus instead it adds and multiplies goodness to us.    We are to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness which is a gift to us and seek to walk in that gift through faith.  We should expect the same on earth as in heaven as we take it by faith.

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

‭Matthew‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
