God's Love

Devotions:
God's love is so great that we cannot even begin to comprehend it but we sit around doubting it like the children of Israel coming out of Egypt headed for the promised land. They continually focused on their problems and the troubles along the way quickly forgetting the last miracle that God did for them and accusing God of being a sinister God that just brought them out into the desert to kill them. When we focus on our problems we become fearful and gripe and complain because of the inconvience and the trouble instead of looking to God and His goodness, which He thoroughly demonstrated in the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins. We must force to focus on God and His goodness towards us even when our circumstances seem to pull us like a powerful magnet to look at the problem.
“Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Hebrews 13:15-16 NASB
As we offer the sacrifice of praise we are demonstrating our faith in the goodness of our God and in the victory that He has already won for us in all circumstances and snares of the enemy.
Embrace and become saturated in the love of God for you. As a child of God you cannot lose and as we, in faith call upon His name we shall see great deliverances because God takes delight in His people. You qualify because you are in Jesus not because you did anything right.
God's love is everywhere. You must be open to receiving it. The children of Israel were not open to it even though God continued to demonstrate it to them time and time again. Because they desired their idols it obscured their view of God and His goodness. Do not let anything get between you and God, for He is the only good that there is!
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32 NASB
