Value to God

Devotions:

      God's greatest miracle was the salvation of mankind. God's most costly miracle was the salvation of mankind. Mankind is then God's most precious creation. You are God's precious creation. You say that you have done some very bad things.  That is why God the Father sent Jesus to die in your place, that you might be redeemed and saved.  You cannot save yourself, if you could then God would not have sent Jesus.  God did not begrudgingly send Jesus to die for you and me.  It was painful and sorrowful but our God delights in us.  He does not delight when we sin and in sinning self inflict wounds. But He knows that when you receive and understand the fullness of His love for you then you will stop looking for other things to fulfill and heal you. The other things just deepen the wound and hurt you more.  God wants the image in your heart to be one of truth, that you are greatly loved and cherished by your Heavenly Father.

        The lies of the world and our experience seep into our thinking and lie to us.  They say that God really does not love us.  We have done too many horrible things for God to love us anymore. But those are lies. Choose rather to believe the truth.  Meditate on it until it becomes a part of your being.  How will you know, you will not be able to keep the joy, praise and thanksgiving inside of you.

        “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  ‭Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

        “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”
