God's Will

Devotions:

        “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”  ‭3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        God's greatest desire is that you walk in prosperiety and health. John here speaking by the Holy Spirit tells us this but he also tells how this will come about, even as our souls prospers.  Our souls prospering is seeing ourselves as God sees us.  When the inner image in us lines up with God's image then we will see ourselves prospering.  Satan and the world try to paint a picture on our imagination of us being a failure and no good.  We were all born into sin and we are all subject to being moved by what we see and hear.  This is why we must give priority to the word of God. The word of God is not given as a manual to live by but as a picture of Jesus. 

        “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”  ‭John‬ ‭5:39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        Many look into the word of God and see rules and laws that condemn them and disqualify them from receiving God blessings upon them.  But Jesus met all the rules for us and gave us His life.

        As we look into the word of God we see a picture of Jesus.  When we look into the word of God we see a mirror reflecting back to us our image, a picture of Jesus.  Jesus walked in prosperiety and health in His thirty three years on the earth and now walks in glory. 

        Your soul will only prosper when you see yourself in Jesus and Jesus in you. This is the way that the Father sees you, healthy and prosperous because of His blessings on Jesus and that blessing is on you because you are in Jesus. 

        “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”  ‭1 John‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
