Glorifying God

 October 24, 2016

Devotions:

Let the Lord be magnified in all that we think, do or say.  For the Lord to be magnified we have to be totally leaning upon Him. He is not magnified, He is not glorified because we do good works but because we allow Him to do good works through us.  The Glory of the Lord comes from what He does in us and through us.  When we walk by this principle then we will seek to walk by the spirit in all thing.  We then see every weakness, every road block as a place of rejoicing and not an opportunity to become depressed and discouraged.  God is much bigger than all the problems that Satan can throw at us and it will not dim the lights in heaven if God has to solve all our problems at the same time.  There is no power shortage in heaven.  As we look to the Lord continuously our faces will shine because we are connected to the author of light.  Our expectations will increase and we will become fully assured that our God will meet our every need, be our strength, healed all our diseases, filled us with life, and health and peace and joy..  God's greats glory is when we are the most satisfied in Him and we are looking totally to Him to be the strength in our every weakness.

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
