Paths of Anointing

Devotions:

“Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭65:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Obedience is vital to us to be able to walk in victory over enemy. Our victory only comes as we walk by the Spirit of God.  Here in Psalms we see that walking in the ways of God, His paths, we walk in the anointing, drop fatness.  (Fatness is also translated anointing,).

So when we hear from God and do what He shows us, His anointing is there to carry out His assignment for us.  Jesus did nothing except by the anointing.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is our example as to how to walk as well as the energizing force within us to cause us to walk in that way.  God's desire and intention is to bless His people and He does as much as we allow Him.  When we get revelation from God on the things that destroy us we by His anointing turn from those things.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:105‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God gives us revelation through His word and His Spirit.  We cannot walk beyond what we know and believe.  That is why we must make it a priority to hear from the Holy Spirit.  Yonggi Cho, when asked how he built at one time the largest church in the world said, "I found out what God wanted to do, and I did it,". When we do what God wants then our paths will drip with fatness (anointing).  It is the anointing that destroys the yoke and lifts the burden off of people.
