God's Word Does Not Fail
Devotions:
“There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass." Joshua 21:45 KJV
Here in the Old Covenant God kept all of His promises which He made to Israel to bring them into the land of promise, a land flowing with milk and honey. The children of Israel were a stiff necked people and God had to do all He could to bring them into the land because they were opposed to it by their attitude and unbelief.
In the New Covenant God wants to bring us into all of the provision which He has made for us through Jesus Christ. He will succeed to fulfill all His promises and provisions to us. Many will not see it in this life because they do not believe in His goodness. Israel kept doubting God's love for them even though they kept witnessing His miracle provision for them. Our doubting God's love for us hinders us from receiving what He has provided but He will fulfill His word to us. He has redeemed us from the curse of the law. He has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. He made us coheirs of the universe with Jesus. All of this and more will He fulfill to those who believe in His salvation. God cannot lie. It is the word of God that reveals to us His abundant provision which He longs for us to partake. Do not be satisfied with anything less than God's best for you.
