“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” ‭Revelation‬ ‭21:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God's purpose is to fully restore the human race to its full status before Adam's sin and more.  Everything that was introduced by the sin of Adam is to be reversed.  Satan is the author of all evil and he polluted the earth and all of creation which God had called very good. But God dealt with sin at the cross of Jesus and is in the business of restoration first of the spirit of man.  This is called the new birth when we change lordships from Satan to Jesus.  Then He restores our souls through the transformation of our minds.  This is a work that He does, we just receive it, or we can reject it.  The last part of the transformation is when we receive a resurrection body like Jesus has.  We have kept this body right now to give us the authority to proclaim the Gospel on the earth and bring many into salvation.

Not only is man restored but the whole of creation will be made new better than the original creation.  God's reign will be totally restored to the earth and goodness will once again rule the earth totally.  This is all the work of God. We just have to receive what God is doing in our lives.  When we become new creations God changes our hearts and gives us a new heart that wants to follow Him and do His will.  The thing that prevents God from working is either ignorance or our religious ideas that get in the way.  As a new creation your desire should be to worship and praise Him knowing that you are accepted in the beloved not because of your behavior but because of Jesus' behavior.  As we praise and worship Him the life of Jesus will saturate us and transform us from glory to glory.  II Corinthians 3
