Peace with God

Devotions:
“but for our sake also--to whom righteousness will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead-- who was betrayed and crucified because of our sins, and was raised [from the dead] because of our justification [our acquittal--absolving us of all sin before God].” ROMANS 4:24-25 AMP
We are made right with God not by our actions or lifestyle but by the sacrifice of Jesus because He was perfect yet He took our sins upon Himself and paid the full price for them. Notice the Amplifed says that we were acquitted and absolved of all sin before God. This happened before any of us were born so it covers all our sin from birth to death. For it to be real we must accept what Christ did for us.
“Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).” ROMANS 5:1 AMP
Paul goes on to say that because of the work the Jesus did for us in making us righteous we have peace with God. God has nothing against us. There is nothing standing between us and God. We stand in the place to then receive the fullness of the Father's blessings. We have full access to our Father, unhindered access through Jesus. Peace means wholeness, nothing lacking, nothing broken. Our relationship with our Father is now this was, whole with nothing lacking and nothing broken. We must choose to believe this over the lies of the devil that say that we are unworthy and that our Father is angry with us because of our sins. Our sins were dealt with and God gave us a new nature that wants to do His will and we will do His will if we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit within us.
