The Glory

Devotions:
“It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.” 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 KJV
As they ministered to the Lord, the Lord's presence came in and filled the temple. As we, the new temple of God, minister to Him with praise and thanksgiving with singleness of heart, with all of our heart, God's presence will show up in our lives. They people lifted up their voices not just in their hearts but they let the sound of their voices be heard. It is the anointing that destroys the yoke and lifts the burdens. The anointing is His manifested presence. It is the anointing, His glory that transforms us into His image. Paul said in Titus that we are saved by the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Ghost. Then more we come into His majestic presence, the cloud of Glory, the more we are transformed, the more we are renewed, the more we are saved and transformed into His image.
God's presence came into Moses' tabernacle so that the priest could not minister. His presence came into Solomon's temple twice so that the priest could not minister. Both of these structures were temporary habitations of the presence of God. His permanent residence is in the hearts of born again believers. How much more should we not walk in His glorious presence.
When Moses built the tabernacle and when Solomon built the temple they built it exactly to God's specifications.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
John 14:23 KJV
