Lovingkindness

Devotions:

“He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.”  ‭Psalms‬ ‭103:10-11‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Those who fear Him are those who have obeyed Him and received Jesus as Savior and Lord and are born again.  If you are born again you qualify to receive His lovingkindness.  He is not short on lovingkindness, He has more than enough for every man, woman and child and have immeasurable amount left over.  David says here that it is higher than the heavens are above the earth which is immeasurable.  This is not according to what we have done or not done.  He has not dealt with us according to our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities but are we willing to receive what He has done?

His lovingkindness demonstrates to us in mercy and tangible blessings.  When God made the earth and man, He blessed the earth and His man.  God has not changed.  He is looking for ways to bless you.  He is looking for you to accept His lovingkindness as He demonstrated in Jesus.  God has forgiven all our sins and we need to make sure that we have thoroughly forgiven ourselves and others.  We cannot walk in forgiveness and not forgive others.  Unforgiveness in our hearts will destroy us, we will go to heaven, just be miserable in the process.
