Do You Believe He is Able?

Devotions:

        “When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."”  ‭Matthew‬ ‭9:28‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        This is the question that we must ask of Jesus in every area of our lives.  When we need healing we must be totally assured that Jesus is able to heal just like He did in the gospels.  He healed according to their faith.  We do not have Jesus physically present with us but He is here in the person of the Holy Spirit.  It was the Holy Spirit who did the work through Jesus in His earthly walk.  Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.  What He did in the gospels He will do for us today.  It was faith that activated His power then and it is faith in Him and His revealed word that activates His power today.  We need to believe that He is willing and able to do what He said He would do. 

        Whether it is healing or finances or deliverance it is ours.  Here they asked and believed that they received what they asked for and it manifested.  When we ask we are to believe that we receive what we requested just as if He were here in person. Will the manifestation always be immediate, no but we are to act like it is ours, strengthening ourselves in His word and His love for us and we will see the results.  Do you really believe that He is able to answer your prayer, for you?  Believe in His goodness, Believe in His mercy, Believe in His covenant which the Son secured for you with the Father. It is His word that creates that faith in you.
