Sin's Devistation

Devotions:

        Sin destroys us.  Sin will keep us from hearing from our Father God.  God is the only source of good in the universe.  then world is controlled by the evil one.

        “We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:19‬ ‭NASB‬‬

        So when we receive direction from another source besides God, it is crafted to destroy us.  Satan fractures our lives because we are not grounded in God, and then we are guided by the hurt, pain, sense of worthlessness that the fracture has accomplished.  This is a spiral down because acting on the hurt and pain creates more hurt and pain.  In all of our devastation we need to know that our Father God does not condemn us but stands with His arms opened wide and says."I love you." If we will receive His love and run to Him, He will heal our hurt, pain and devastation.  His desire is not to condemn but to save.  But if we keep looking to the world for our life we continue to submit ourselves to that which will destroy us.  Israel kept turning to the demonic religions of those around her and God knew that those religions would destroy them and make them less than what God intended them to be.  When we turn to the world for our life it will destroy us and make us less than what God has created us to be. 

        “You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

        “And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.”

        Be sober and viligent, choose your friends wisely for who you associate with will determine where you will go. If you walk with fools you will become a fool, if you walk with wise you will grow in wisdom.  Walk with God.
