Satisfied in Jesus

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God's great love for us does not mean that He is soft on sin, in fact it means that He has a passionate hatred of sin.  Sin destroys those who participate in it.  This is why He hates it.  Satan tries to convince us that we can participate in sin and it not touch us.

“Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”  ‭Romans‬ ‭6:11-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Sin is no longer our master but Jesus is our Lord. When we are satisfied in Jesus we will not enter into sin.  As we seek to be with Jesus will enter into His presence and the more satisfied we are with Him the more we will lay down the sin which so easily entangles us.

Paul says in Ephesians 1:6 KJV that we are accepted in the beloved.  God who knows all about us and even things that we do not know about ourselves and yet loves us inspite of ourselves.  God's love for us will set us free from all that which destroys us.  God's presence satisfies us where nothing else will.  God is against anything that would destroy us.
