God's Provision

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” ‭Colossians‬ ‭2:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Many times we get into the thinking that we have to force God to give us what we need, money, healing, revival... But in reality we already have all that we need in Christ and His indwelling presence within us.  Paul says that we are complete in Him (in Christ). Some people pray for hours to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit and finally when they are exhausted they give in and receive.  Others simply receive in a matter of seconds.  What is the difference? The one who struggles for hours in prayer is simply trying to receive in the flesh and it is not until their flesh is worn out that they get quiet enough before God to receive by the spirit.  The other one has the right understanding and easily receives by the spirit.  The same with anything else we receive from God.  We can make a major work of the flesh and wear ourselves out trying to receive what is already ours because we want to put our own works into the equation when God has already done everything necessary to meet our every need and pour out His Spirit in revival.  He wants revival more than we do.  He wants us to walk in His full provision more than we do.

“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” ‭Romans‬ ‭5:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Faith sees what God has done in redemption, takes it and acts like it is real even when the circumstances seems to contradict what the word of God says.  Whatever you need, God has already made provision for it in Christ Jesus.  You just need to find the scriptures that promise to supply what you need, get them down into your heart through meditation and act on them like they are true.  Do not beg and plead, receive what God has done and rejoice.  If you do not see results, then ask God where you are missing it, (James1:5). God does not change, His provision is already in us but we access it through faith all the while the enemy is trying to keep us from receiving. But God is greater than the enemy.
