Omnipresent

Devotions

One of the attributes of God is that He is omnipresent, that is He is everywhere. When we know that He is everywhere at once then we do not have to seek for Him to come on the scene, He is already there.  What we do seek is to become more aware of His presence.  This we seek through His word and prayer and fasting.  His word reveals to us that we are His righteousness so we have unhindered access to God and to the blessings that He has for us.  We must keep our eyes on Him and not on His blessings.  We then do not have to convince Him to be presence we just stand in faith that He is here.

He is present with us whereever we go and in whatever we do.  When we are conscious of this then we begin to walk straighter lives.  It is being unconscious of God's presence that allows us to do things that we know we should not do.

One of the benefits of praying in tongues is that we become more aware of His presence because we are working with the Holy Spirit directly to pray in tongues.  Become aware of His presence through continually praise and worshipping Him.

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.”
