Heaven or Hell

Devotions:

Heaven is a reality and all those who die in Christ Jesus will spend eternity there.  Hell is a reality and all those who reject Jesus will spend eternity separated from the love of God, tormented in hell. Death is a reality to every human to this time.  All will physically die except those who are here when Jesus returns.  All physical death is, is the separation of the real person from their physical body when it ceases to function.  If at that time you are in Christ you go to heaven if not you go to hell.  Our focus must be on eternity and the eternal destiny of our fellow humans.  The factor that causes people to change their destiny is the love of God.  People must see the love demonstrated and hear about their opportunity to receive that love.  God's desire is that none go to hell but those who insist by rejecting the sacrifice of Jesus and resisting His love are choosing hell.  Some say that we all serve the same God only in different ways but no person can make himself acceptable to God by any religious works.  God had to come to earth as a man and take our place so that we could take His place with the Father with Him.

Some reject hell as being cruel but it is really compassionate.  Those who go there do so because they chose to reject God and His love for them.  They love their deeds of darkness more that the light.  All God is doing is separating the evil from the good so those in Christ Jesus will no longer have to be subjected to the evil of people who do not want God.  God is the only source of good in the universe.  To reject Him is to choose evil.

“And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” ‭Isaiah‬ ‭66:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” ‭Romans‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
