Righteousness Revealed

Devotions:

      As new creations we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. It is important to note that it is in Christ. We have Christ's life within us and so we have His righteousness. God's righteousness within us is His nature and character. He has corrected and completed what He started in Genesis 1: 26-28.  We now have His life, eternal life that Jesus promised in John 3: 36. To walk in salvation you must know that absolutely, you are His righteousness.

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

      It is like unwrapping a Christmas present. With God's help you discover who you are. God opens up and reveals the perfect work he has done you by exposing His glory which unveils His glory within you.  As with the new birth, the work is not yours but God's. You must expose yourself tHis glory in church and in your own devotional time with Him. As we learn what pleases Him and do it He reveals Himself to us.  As we learn who we are and act accordingly we honor His work in salvation and we walk in victory. When we act contrary to who we have been made then we are defeated by the enemy because we have refused to believe what God has said about us. Walking in righteousness is walking in life.
