      “Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

      God emphasized the importance of His word to His people. Not just to know His word but to live His word. The first requirement to living the word is to know the word and that comes by meditating in the word constantly. Moses, speaking for God, says that we need to continuously speak and witness to the word. God will always honor His word.

      We will never truly know God until we try His word and find it to be true in our lives. We should not wait for a life threatening situation but start now with any situation. The righteous are to live by faith. Faith in God's word is faith in God, is faith in God's love.

      We are to be dominated by the word of God and not our circumstances or our feelings. Our circumstances and feelings are subject to change. God's word never changes.
