Believe the Word of God

Devotions:

God's word is yes and amen to us. It is a finished work.  If we ask God for what He has already provided we are not in faith because it is already ours.  We do not see the provision in the natural but it is already ours in the spirit. Jesus provided for everything by His death, burial and resurrection.  His grace has already given us everything.

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is our faith that brings these realities into manifestation. We believe that the provision is already done and ours. We see it as a finished work, we act like His word is true and we speak the truth of the word not the vanity of the circumstances. Satan's task is to convince us of the lying vanities that are contrary to the word of God. The word says that we are righteous, holy, with peace and joy, we are protected, without condemnation and free from the law of sin and death.  The word says that we are healed even with the worse physical attack.  The word says that we have the wisdom of God and are led by His Spirit. We have bold and confident access to the Father and all of our sins and failures of the past have been wiped out.

The word of God then is a treasure chest of who we are and what we have in Christ. We must then train ourselves to believe the word of God over all other evidence to the contrary. Whose report will your believe?
