His Presence

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John‬ ‭17:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The end of our quest of this life is Jesus.  Many times we think it is to live a comfortable life and squire wealth. But both of those are temporal.  Our goal is Jesus and we pursue that goal with all of our hearts we will be found by Him. There in nothing in the universe that compares to Him.  All earthly pleasures are a poor imitation to the joy, peace and excitement that He gives.  With Jesus is a contentment that nothing else can give.  There is a fulfillment that nothing can accomplish in us. Nothing compares to Jesus. The more that we focus on Him and the abundance of HIs love the more we experience that love.  We do not deserve that love but He freely gave it to us anyway. All sin is when we doubt the fullness of His love for us.

“For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;” ‭Colossians‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” ‭Colossians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we are born again we receive Jesus in us and all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him.  We do not need more of God. We receive all of God at our new birth.  We need a revelation of God's indwelling presence within us.  The more we know about His presence in us and act boldly upon it the more we will see God manifest. It is not just knowing His presence it is hearing form Him and walking in obedience to His voice.
