God's Word is Truth

Devotions:

        God's word is truth.  Our faith is based on this fact. Many times we give lip service to this fact then we will put a yes but on the end of that statement. We will say, yes God's word is truth but it did not work in my situation. Matthew 8:17 says that Jesus bore my sickness and carried my diseases but I do not understand why I am not healed.  We have just said that God's word is true but it is not true in my case.  The truth of God's word does not change and it applies to everyone.  When we are standing for healing we must know that His word is truth for us even if the symptoms seem to linger as we are standing on the Word.  We continue to build our faith by meditating on the passages of scripture that tell us what is already ours in Christ Jesus, for instance healing.  Secondly we speak the truth of God's word that we have been meditating on because our faith is released by the words that we speak when we believe on those words in our heart.  It is the activation of our faith in His word that activates the power of the word in our lives.  Inspite of all contradictory circumstances we choose to believe and to act on God word as truth.

“God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”
