Supplications

Devotions:
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
Ephesians 6:18 KJV
Another area of spiritual warfare is to make supplications for the saints, that is to stand for them and with them and claim their inheritance before the Lord. If they are oppressed then we are to stand with them in prayer that Colossians 1:13 is true for them.
“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” Colossians 1:12-13 KJV
Their deliverance and our deliverance is a fact before the Father but we must fight the lies of Satan to stand in this truth. To stand in for a believer that this is a truth faith in what God has said. We pray and ask once and then everytime that we bring it up we thank God that He has heard us. As we do for ourselves so we do for others the one difference is their will has a part to play. If they are not in agreement because of ignorance then we need to talk with them and show them the truth. We power over the enemy to bind them and stop them from deceiving our fellow believers but if they like the demon's presence then we cannot get them set free. This is supplication because we are just agreeing with God and them that what they need is already theirs. They have a standing with God already though they may not know it.
When praying for an unbeliever we must do intercession because they have no standing with God so we are pleading for God's mercy to be upon them. We can still bind the devil from blinding their minds to the truth of the Gospel.
