Tongues

Devotions:

        God's salvation is to set us free from that which destroys us and to restore us to relationship with Him.  This relationship means walking in fellowship with Him.  We cannot survive apart from God but with God we excell.  God has given us the marvelous gift of praying in tongues to give us a direct line to His presence.  We pray in tongues we are praying the perfect will of God because we are praying, speaking as the Holy Spirit gives us the words to say.  We are praying His words back to Him.  If we do not value this gift we will not use it and will not receive the benefit. As we pray in tongues we pray out our destiny and pray through problems even before they occur because God knows what is ahead of us and will pray the solution through us as we pray in tongues.  We also then will pray out the interpretation as the Spirit wills so not only is our spirit edified, built up, but also our minds will be built us because we then know what the will of God for our lives.  When we have a situation that we do not know exactly how to pray, as we pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit will pray out the answer because He knows everything about the situation. 

        We value the gift of tongues by using it daily.  If we really believe that it is invaluable to our day to day walk we will truly use it daily and not just a few seconds but set aside quality time giving it priority in our lives.  When we put spiritual things first it benefits all areas of our lives.
