Over the Devil

Devotions:

“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:18-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:19-23‬ ‭KJV‬

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Not only have we been delivered from the kingdom of darkness but we have also been placed in authority over that kingdom.  We are to rule and reign with Christ over our defeated for, Satan. Instead of being under the heal of the enemy, he is under our heal.  Jesus turned the tables on Satan by defeating him on the cross and He gave the victory to us.  do not allow the enemy to put you in a place of submission and inferiority.  We have the victory in Christ! Satan has to stop giving us orders, his words are empty because of the blood of Jesus.  So not only we were delivered from sickness and disease but we have dominion over them even as Jesus did.  We are to take the dominion.  But we will only take as much as we believe is ours even though all dominion is ours in Christ Jesusl. We are to reign in life through Christ Jesus but we reign by faith in His righteousness in us and by His grace towards us.  The archenemy, Satan, is defeated and we have the authority over him.  We are the army to enforce the victory of Jesus.  If we do not do our part then Satan will rise up and dominate.  Know who you are and what is yours and act on it.
