God's Blessings

Devotions:

        The last thing that God did in the creation was to bless mankind.  It is the blessings of the Lord that causes us to prosper.  When we are blessed, highly favored, is when we demonstrate to the world that we serve the only true God, the God of love.  When we know that we are blessed then we will expect the blessing to come upon us and overtake us.  Not everything will begin as a blessing but as we reach out with the expectation of faith, God will change it into a blessing.  When we walk expectantly in the blessings of God then we will develope and attitude of gratitude.  Thanksgiving will always be on our lips because we know that it is not by our power or might nor by our greatness but because our God has blessed us even when we did not deserve it.  If we think that it by our own greatness that we attain then we will be filled with pride which is a snare to make us stumble.  When we know that all that we have has come from God because of His unmerited favor and blessing then we will freely praise Him and give thanks.
