God Can And Will

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.” Mark 10:51-52 KJV
Blind Bartimaeus believed that Jesus could and would heal him when he asked. Bartimaeus left his cloak which signified that he was a legitimate begger. He knew that he was not going to need it anymore so he left the cloak. Bartimaeus had heard of the mercy and compassion of Jesus. He had heard about the blind being healed and no one being turned away. He just knew that Jesus would heal him. When he heard the crowd passing, a loud noisy crowd, he yelled out, Jesus, have mercy on me. Jesus did not hear because of the noise. Those in the crowd told him to be quiet (show some respect). Bartimaeus wanted to receive his sight and he knew that Jesus could give him his sight if he could just het Jesus' attention. He pressed in and yelled louder. His faith stopped Jesus in His tracks. Our faith will stop God and get His attention and we will receive what we ask for. Jesus is the same Nors He was then. Do you believe that Jesus can and will heal you?
