Blessings
Devotions:
When something bad happens to us many times our first reaction is to speak curses under our breath. Our car breaks down we many times will call it a worthless car. But when we are born again we enter into a covenant with God. God's part of the covenant is to save us and to bless us. In the Old Testament the Jews were in a covenant of blessing with God and as they walked in obedience to God. When a curse came they asked, why. They expected the blessing as they followed God. We have a better covenant based on better promises. We should expect to walk in the blessing in every area of our lives. If we do not see the blessings in every area of our lives we should seek God and find out why the blessings of God are not manifestating in our lives. We are blessed to be a blessing. Our blessing from God is a manifestation of His love towards us.
We invoke His blessings through praise and worship. We praise in faith of His blessings even when we do not see the results. God watches over His word to perform it in our lives.
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:26-28 KJV
As we pray and turn our situation over to God we must be confident that God will move to turn the curse of the devil into a blessing.
