Fruitfulness

Devotions:

“Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” Psalms‬ ‭67:3-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Fruitfulness in every area of our lives is directly connected to our praises to God from our hearts. When we receive a blessing but we do not give God praise because all good things come only from God, then we are in effect stealing some of His glory. The greatest expression of faith is our praise of God especially when things are going bad. We do not praise Him for the bad times but that as we look to Him in faith, as demonstrated by our praise, He is acting on our behalf to bring a solution to our problem. In praising God in the midst of our problem we are not denying the existence we are just denying it's right to exist in our sphere of influence.

Our praises not only expresses our faith, it also strengthens our faith. We do not get faith by praise, faith comes by hearing the word, but our praise and thanksgiving will establish the word in our heart and strengthen our faith. Time and again Jesus told the sick who came to Him for healing, "According to your faith be it done unto you. It takes faith to receive from God.

Third, praise brings God and His anointing on the scene, Psalm 22:3, and it is the anointing that destroys the yoke of bondage that Satan puts on us.

Choose to live a life full of the praise and thanksgiving of God for who He is and what He has done produces fruit that will last.
