Dwelling Place

Devotions:
“I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.” Psalms 132:4-5 KJV
We are the temple of God. We are His dwelling place but if we do not know this or if we do not live like this is true then the enemy can blind us to this truth. The presence of God is our blessing. There is no blessing outside of Him. When we walk in line with this truth we partake of His goodness when we do not, Satan steals God's blessings from us. We steward His presence through focusing on His presence in us by our praise and thanksgiving. When we invoke His presence in our time of need we are assured of His help because we have chosen to dwell in His presence and we know Him intimately. David only knew of a physical building for God to dwell in. The reality of the new creation was still a mystery to him. We are that new creation. We are the temple of the living God. Choose to live in this reality and not as a mere human!
