Do Not Be A House Divider
September 4, 2017
Devotions:
“And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
Mark 3:24-25 KJV
When we judge and criticize and judge each other in the body of Christ we are dividing the house and opening the door for the enemy to come in and do what he wants. When we speak evil of each other we are speaking evil of Jesus. We may not agree with what another Christian is doing and if it is a sin we need to pray for them and only as the Lord leads we are to speak to them. When we criticize and judge we cut ourselves off from the Lord's blessings because we are acting out of character with Him. 1 Corinthians 13 Amplifed says that love always is ready to believe the best about everyone.
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
Matthew 5:44-45 KJV
You cannot bless and criticize at the same time. Fresh water and poluted water cannot come out of the same well at the same time. As a Christian you heart has been made pure and clean, filled with the love of God not the words of the accuser. Let the love of God come out of your mouth not the vile criticism of Satan.
