How Does God See Us

What is God's attitude towards us. How we think God views us will determine how we act towards God. If we think that is austere and demanding then we will be cowering in His presence and have the attitude of an orpahan, begging and pleading with God to do something. This is an attitude that the law creates in people. The law was never meant to be a formula for life but to show us how bankrupt we are morally and point us to our Savior and His grace. In grace Christ has done everything necessary for our salvation. Our part is to respond to it. God took us from being offensive to Him to being a full fledge son. He went from being angry with us to delighting in us. All because of the Cross of Jesus.
“For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.”
Psalms 149:4 KJV
God delights in us and just ask that we believe in what He has done for us. God has made us the object of His great affection. God not only made us the focus of His affections but He also made us worthy of His affections. If you look in the natural this does not seem real but if you look in the spirit you will see that you are a holy, righteous new creation recreated in the image of God. We are created in the image of Jesus and in Him is our eternal life and our reason for being pleasing to the Father.
