Man Indwelt By God

        What makes a man, a man or what makes a woman, a woman? Many cultures say am man is a man according to the number of children that he begets.  Or a woman, a woman by her ability to bear children or a male child.  But these are not the determining factors. God made men and women in His image, Genesis 1:27 and in His likeness.  We were made to carry God's image by His indwelling presence.  This Jesus did, He was fully man and was fully yielded to the Father and the will of the Father.  So Jesus fully manifested the image of the Father.

        “If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” ‭John‬ ‭14:7-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        Jesus reflected the Father because He spent time with Him daily, fellowshipping with the Father. Jesus knew the scriptures and saw Himself in the scriptures as taught by the Holy Spirit. 

        So Jesus is our example of the perfect human being, a person totally indwelt by the Father and yielded to His plan and leading.  But the new birth we have been indwelt by the Father but we must learn to yield to Him if we are to manifest Him and fulfill our destiny.
