Kingdom of God

Devotions:

Jesus was a carrier of the Kingdom of God and He demonstrated it everywhere He went after He was baptised in the Holy Spirit at His water baptism in the Jordan River by John. He demonstrated the Kingdom by healing the sick, casting out demons, restoring the maimed and lame.

“But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.” ‭Luke‬ ‭11:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus then commissioned the disciples to take the Kingdom of God, demonstrate it and proclaim it to Israel.

“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.” Luke‬ ‭9:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We are carriers of the Kingdom of God. We are to manifest it where ever we go. We are to cast out demons, heal the sick, set the oppressed free, and proclaim the Kingdom of God has come.  We demonstrated the Kingdom and proclaim it.  Heaven is the perfect picture of the Kingdom of God.  There is no sickness and disease there, no maimed or lame, no demons to torment.

We must first know that the kingdom is within us in all of the power and authority of the King. Then we must go in the confidence that we are called to demonstrated the kingdom. This demonstration is the demonstration of the love of God.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬
