Knowing God

Devotions:

      What is Christianity all about? Keeping a bunch of rules so that we do incurr the wrath of the Holy one and go to hell? No! All of God's wrath was laid on Jesus. People go to hell because they do not receive Jesus and what He did for them. What then is the Christian life? Does God no longer care about our sin? Sin will steal, kill and destroy us. For this reason God does not want us walking in sin but God has made provision for our sin and has provided for our emancipation from sin.

        “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

      Our freedom comes by walking in our forgiveness, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and walking by the spirit. Even that is by walking in intimate fellowship with Him. He has made us righteous so that we could do this.

      Christianity is knowing the Father and knowing Jesus in a relationship.
