The Walk Of Love

Our Christian walk is to be a love walk with our Father and Jesus. Paul said that the law is fulfilled by walking in love with God and those around us. Some feel that we are to keep the Ten Commandments or the moral law of God, but that law is summed up in the law of Love.

Our love for God and our fellowmen comes from the revelation of God’s love for us. The greater depth of our understanding how much God loves us the greater love that we will have. God is not interested in us keeping His law out of duty or mechanically but out of our love walk with Him. We are to be totally captured by His love for us so much so that the world cannot touch us because all of our attention is upon Him.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” ‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we continue to go our own way then we have not understood the love that God has for us. God desires for us to walk in love with Him and nothing else matters. God is our exceeding great reward and nothing on earth can compare with Him.
