More Than A Conqueror

Devotions:
“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)” Romans 5:17 KJV
“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
Romans 6:12-14 KJV
We are to reign in life, not be beaten up and poor. That means that we re to reign over sin and sickness and disease. Paul says that sin no longer has any mastery over us. But we must believe that, if we do not then the enemy will have his way in our lives and we will live defeated. This is not the will of the Father. His will is for us to be more than conquerors. A conqueror is one who gets in a fight and wins. More than a conqueror is the person who benefits from that fight without having to lift a finger. Jesus won the battle for us. We did not even have to lift a finger but we must believe and enforce what He did for us in order to reign as a king . We must yield to God not the devil. God will empower us to do just that.
