Crowned With Glory And Majesty

The second part here is that we might know the glory of His inheritance in the saints. We are God’s inheritance. 

“Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty!” ‭Psalms‬ ‭8:5‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬

God has crowned Adam with glory and majesty but when he fell into sin he lost all of that glory and majesty. Jesus came to restore the fullness of God’s glory and majesty to humanity. Jesus took man’s place with the glory and majesty of the original creation and paid the price to redeem all the rest of mankind back to our place of honor before God. Jesus gave us back the glory and majesty that God originally gave to mankind. God was not stingy with His glory that He bestowed upon mankind, He lavished it upon Jesus just like He had lavished it upon Adam. Because we are in Jesus, the glory has been lavished upon us as well. God inheritance is His glorious sons and daughters who freely follow Him and walk in His glory and majesty. We are to be carriers of His glory to the world. We are to manifest His goodness in our lives as a testimony to His goodness and then minister it to those who are not aware of God’s goodness. Religion says that God is mean and cruel but the opposite is true. He is loving and forgiving, full of compassion and mercy.
