Power for Health

Devotions:

“I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power” ‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” ‭Romans‬ ‭8:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

One of the aspects of the mighty power that Paul wants us to be aware of is the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit that actually raised Jesus from the dead that dwells in us. That means that it is the power that over came all sin, sickness and disease that were ours and were laid on Jesus at His crucifixion. This power that rectified Jesus to raise Him from the dead is working in us to overcome all the effects of the curse including sickness and disease. If we do not have the knowledge of this life within us and what it will do, we will not cooperate with it to receive its benefits. This life never leaves us and is always there to make alive our mortal bodies. He is not talking about after we have received our bodies like Jesus or after we get to heaven because then we will not have a mortal body but and eternal body like Jesus.

The resurrection life of Jesus dwells within us so that we might walk in divine life. That is a level above divine healing.
