Be Careful What You Say

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.”

Not everyone will receive what you have to say. Some people will despise your walk with God. When you try to share your understanding of God and your experiences with God they will either take offense at what you say, mock you, or treat you like you do not know what you are talking about. The Holy Spirit will show you who your are to share with. Not everybody is ready to hear about the things of God. If they hear prematurely and do not receive your witness it could harden them to further exposure to the gospel. Like Jesus said, they have no respect for holy things so when you share they will trample them under foot, treating is just a no account common thing and then turn to rip you to shreds.
