Holy Spirit, Our Teacher

Devotions:

          “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

        The Holy Spirit is our teacher. God placed the office of teacher in the body of Christ . But the ultimate teacher is the Holy Spirit.  Any teacher that we hear we are to check the teaching  out with the Holy Spirit and the word of God. Acts 17:11.

          As I spend time praying in the Holy Spirit, He gives me interpretation of the mysteries I prayed.

          Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine? How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

1 Corinthians 14:6‭, ‬26 KJV

        We look to one teacher in the body of Christ and they have o e doctrine and seem to have Scriptures to back them up.  Then we listen to someone different and they totally contradict the first person. Who is right? Usually both have a portion of the truth. As we look to the Holy Spirit, He will show us what is right. Usually a  belief system will blind us to  new revelations from God. We must judge our beliefs by the word of God. We must judge our revelations by the word of God.
