“Happy is that people, that is in such a case: Yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.” ‭Psalm‬ ‭144:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Psalm 144 is about the blessings on the people whose God is the Lord. We are that people. We have a better covenant than those of the Old Testament, we have a better blessing because our sins have been removed. In the Old Testament, God’s people just had their sins covered. The price had not been paid for them to be removed and God blessed them as much as He could. Our sins have been removed. David knew that the blessing of the Lord was upon Him. He saw the blessings. We need to believe that we are blessed by faith and as we do we will speak praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for His blessing. We start expecting God’s blessings in everything that we do. Though the enemy come against us we know that he is defeated and will run in fear as we resist him. If we accept the curse just as a part of life that we should expect then we will be victims of the curse. But we have been delivered form the kingdom of darkness and the control of Satan.
