Argue Your Case
Devotions:
“I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified." Isaiah 43:25-26 KJV
We must be confident when we come to the Lord with our prayers that there is nothing offensive in us. He has blotted out our sins and refuses to remember them. In our prayers we need to have a well thought out case to present to the Father. We need to have the scriptural backing that promises us what we are asking for and it is very helpful to write out our request including the scriptures in the form of a contract between us and God.
We are in a covenant relationship with God through the blood of Jesus so we present our case based on this covenant. God cannot lie and as we back our case up with His word then we can be assured that we will receive an answer. As we write our case down then we can review it over the period of time that we pray and believe that we receive our request and the time it manifest. As we continue to read over the contract we continue to build our faith. Jesus said over and over to people coming to Him for healing, according to your faith be it done unto you. The same applies to us. As we meditate on the scriptures in the contract that we have written and prayed, asking God for, we continue to build our faith in God and that He will fulfill His word. Be diligent and intentional in your prayers.
