Devotions:
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 KJV
“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-17 KJV
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
Salvation is not us going to heaven but getting heaven into us. It is to continuously walk knowing the presence of our Father God, to be totally convinced of His fabulous love for us individually and collectively. Jesus came to give us abundant life, He came to set the captive free but the only way that He can completely do that is that we are totally submitted to Him. Jesus is Lord. Our inheritance which came from our father Adam is rebellion which led to bondage under the master of rebellion, Satan. When we come into Christ our inheritance is freedom and liberty in the Spirit from all the bondage that would destroy us. Wherever Jesus is Lord in our souls, there is freedom, peace, purity, holiness and righteousness. Where we still have hidden places there is torment and bondage.
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 16:25 KJV
Some are afraid that total submission to God will cause them to lose their identity but just the opposit is true. As we submit to God all our fears, and hurts and weaknesses He gives us a true identity. That is salvation!
