Doers of the Word

Devotions:

        It is the doers of the word that are blessed.  The process of Christianity is to transform our lives so we are conformed more and more into the image of the Jesus.  When Jesus was resurrected from the dead He was given the power to transform our souls and our bodies. Our bodies will be transformed when Jesus returns. Therefore we have to keep our bodies under the rule of our spirit. 

        Our souls are renewed as we saturate ourselves with the word.  The word of God has the power within it to transform us as we meditate on the word, receive the word and do the word.  As we meditate on the word God by His Spirit gives us revelation of the word.  When we get the revelation of the word of God, He gives us the faith to act on the word.  As we are conformed more and more into His image we walk closer and closer with God.  Our spirits are already in conformity with Him and He is in the process of conforming our souls.  We have to make the decision to receive His word and give it priority in our lives.  In doing this we are honoring God as God by honoring His word.     

    God is the only source of good in the universe. God is the only source of good for us.  The world has nothing good for us only that which destroys us.  God's desire is that we walk in His blessings rather than the curse that the earth has endured under Satan. The choice is ours.
