Devotions:

When we meditate in the word of God we are soaking in the word.  So we will not cover a lot of scripture but we will spend quality time on the little portion that we are meditating on. What your are doing is soaking in the word, You may read one word of a scripture and feel the Holy Spirit tell you to read it again and again and again. You read it until the Holy Spirit releases you to read the next word or phrase. You want to stay with that scripture until you have squeezed all out of it that the Holy Spirit wants you to get. This works especially well when you are reading the Bible and a verse jumps out at you. Do not just press on but stop and savor the verse reading it over and over until you have received all that you can from the verse. This is how the Holy Spirit teaches us. You will get deep, rich revelation from God as you mine the depths of His treasures. With these revelations comes transformation of your soul. You cannot transform yourself but the Holy Spirit will transform you. As you read, read slowly and reverently. This is the Holy written word of God.

Accept the revelation that you get and start speaking it and doing is.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
