Fellowship With God

Devotions:

“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord." ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭13:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Every believer has a calling first to fellowship with God. All ministry flows out of this fellowship. As we spend more and more time with God we become more and more aware of His presence. It is His presence that changes the atmosphere to be charged with faith and expectation.  Not everyone is receptive to His presence but those who are receive His blessing. As we come together for our worship service and minister to Him, His presence will flood the place and as we reach out in faith we will receive what we need. If the only time we minister to God and fellowship with Him is in a corporate meeting then we will have a shallow fellowship. We must spend time fellowshipping with God daily in our lives. Then we will develop an awareness of His abiding presence. He is Emmanuel, God with us.

Also without His help we cannot pursue Him. We call out for hunger to know Him. When we hunger for Him, we will be satisfied but hunger does not stop until it is satisfied.

This is our life, that we might know Him. He is the only reason for our existence. Our walk of holiness comes as we are enamored totally with Him.
