Warfare

Devotions:
“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 KJV
Paul list the warfare in the reverse of occruance. We are first hit with the thoughts. This is the easiest attack to deal with. We are to bring the thoughts captive to Christ. We measure all the thoughts as whether they in line with who we are. Not all thoughts are our thoughts and even if they are ours from our old man we are to take them captive to Christ. The way we take them captive is to replace the lie that has come into our head with the truth from the word. We take the word and speak it against the thoughts and continue to insist that God's word is true about me!
If we do not deal with the lies that come into our mind then it will go to the next level. Keep a watch over your thoughts. You are the guard over your mind. Be quick to deal with unwanted thoughts with the word of God.
