“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:27-28 KJV
Jesus died once for our sins to forgive us. All of our sins are forgiven, past, present and future because they were forgiven by Jesus hanging on the cross, becoming our sins and bearing the full judgement for our sin and not ours only but the sins of the whole world. The sin problem before God the Father has been taken care of. Satan tries to keep us in bondage by keeping us focused on our imperfections and manifestations of the flesh instead of the solution, Jesus. As we focus on sin and trying to rid ourselves of it we will stay in bondage to it because our flesh is weak and cannot perform. When we look to, focus totally on the solution, Jesus and His sacrificial death, and see that we died with HIm because of our sin, were buried and rose again with Him on the third day to newness of life and victory then that is the direction that our life will manifest not by the power of the flesh but by the power of the Spirit..
When we stand before Jesus and His judgement seat, this is a judgement of the saints, we all stand to receive rewards not punishments. Jesus already paid the full price for our sins. There will be blanks in our lives where we walked in the flesh and there is no reward. That is why it is imperative to learn to walk by the leading of the Spirit of God. But even unconsciously we follow the leading of the Spirit of God. The more we know Him the more we will walk consciously by the Spirit. Hebrews 9:28 says that Jesus will return without sin unto salvation. That salvation is when our salvation is completed and we receive a brand new body like His.
Do not focus on sin and your own efforts to try to rid yourself of it but focus on Jessu the perfect sacrifice for your sins and His life in you, that never leaves you or forsakes you that gives you the power of the sin.
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans 5:10 KJV
